It usually hits after a conversation with friends.
You shouldn't have to cancel the family holiday or work until 65 to fix this. What you need is a clear picture of where your loan is heading, and a plan built around the income you already have.
Own your home on your timeline, not the bank's.
Every situation is different, and we'll only recommend a change if it genuinely leaves you better off.
Know your mortgage-free date
See when your loan actually ends on its current path, and what could realistically bring that date forward.
Stop paying more interest than you need to
A sharper rate and the right structure mean more of every repayment goes off what you owe, not to the bank.
Get ahead without going without
A plan that fits your cash flow, so getting ahead doesn't mean saying no to holidays and time with the kids.
We look at more than just the rate.
The lowest advertised rate isn't always the best deal. Here's what we look at before recommending anything.
Book my free mortgage review →- Your payoff timeline. Where your loan is heading today, and how rate, structure and repayments change the finish line.
- Your true cost. Rate, ongoing fees, and what you'd pay to leave your current lender, so the numbers are real.
- Structure that works harder. Offset accounts, splits and redraw, set up around how your money actually comes in and goes out.
- Self-employed or complex income. Different lenders read business income very differently. We know which ones understand yours.
- A retention check. Sometimes the quickest win is getting your current bank to sharpen its rate. We'll tell you if that's the case.
- The switch itself. Discharge forms, valuations, settlement. We handle it and keep you updated at every step.
Three steps, and we do the heavy lifting.

Pick a time that suits you. Have a recent loan statement handy if you can, but it's not essential.

We handle the rest
If you go ahead, we manage the application and paperwork through to settlement. You get on with your week.

Hi, I'm Daniel Berti, Principal of Berti Financial Group.
Most of the homeowners I speak with earn well and have done everything right. What nobody has done is sit down with them and show them where their loan is actually heading, and what they could change. That's what we do.
We look at your whole situation, give you straight advice and do the legwork. If changing your loan isn't right for you, I'll tell you. No pressure either way.

Homeowners who stopped putting it off.
“I had an excellent experience from start to finish refinancing my home loan. The whole process was fast, smooth, and completely stress‑free. … Daniel replied quickly every time, kept me updated, and the loan settled well before my expectations.”
“We’ve been working with Daniel for around 10 years and during that time he has helped us with several mortgages and refinances. What we value most is his genuine commitment to finding the right solution for us. His recommendations are always honest, practical and based on what is actually in our best interest.”
“Over the years, they've helped us with 3 home loans, an equity release, and refinancing whenever they found us a better interest rate. They've always had our best interests at heart and made sure we're getting the best deal possible.”
Things people usually ask us first.
How can I pay my mortgage off sooner without cutting back?
Often it comes down to your rate, how your loan is structured (for example, using an offset account) and making sure your repayments are working as hard as they can. On the call we'll show you which of these could apply to you.
How long does refinancing take?
Usually two to six weeks from application to settlement, depending on the lender and your situation. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the call.
Will it cost me anything to switch?
There can be costs, such as a discharge fee from your current lender, government registration fees, or break costs if you're on a fixed rate. We'll lay these out upfront so you can see whether switching is worth it.
I'm self-employed. Will that make it harder?
It can with some lenders, but others are much more flexible with business income. Knowing which lender suits your situation is a big part of what we do.
Will my credit score be affected?
We won't submit anything to a lender until you've decided to go ahead, so the review call itself has no impact on your credit file.
